I spent several days in Spokane visiting family and friends. It was nice to see everyone, show off Apricity, and tell them about my trip.

We set off for Helena in the early afternoon, after a lovely visit from my grandfather.

We were on the road! We were free! We flew through forests and over passes, until I saw the sparkle of sunlight on a body of water!

I exited immediately and followed a little road to a beautiful lake. Both dogs and I dove in. Ok, none of us dove. I’d pay good money to see a husky dive into a lake. We swam and basked in the sun and then walked through the grass. These dogs like our swimming vacation as much as I do! See Hallie get a case of the Zoomies! An hour later if was time for another swim! I followed signs for fishing and a stagecoach RV Park. I couldn’t find good river access down the road so I stopped at the Stagecoach place and bought a cookie and asked if I could use their river access. So far, everyone I’ve met has been so nice.
