My uncle Rick knows the places I am headed! I went to Helena to visit my grandparents and my uncle. I don’t visit often enough. It was so nice to get to spend time with them before I set off on this time alone.

My uncle gave me books and maps and inside information on place to camp and routes to travel! It was comforting to have him confirm that these places were beautiful and attainable and to have a loose plan of how to get there! I wish I had more time to stay and hang out with him.

My grandparents have been snowbirds in their RV for years. It was great to talk shop, show them Apricity and ask questions about how life on the road works for them.

I walked a lot and looked at the pretty scenery and slowly adjusted to the elevation. It’s going to be a summer of elevation, and the rest there with them was a perfect on ramp.
